Inclusive

Unified Kids

Unified Kids at Eltham is the first program of its kind in Australia.

We welcome participants with a disability or neurotypical participants looking for a supportive and fun basketball experience.

Unified is an iconic Special Olympics International program that promotes and creates social inclusion between individuals with and without intellectual disabilities through sport.

What does this mean?

It means that people with a disability can train with and play in the same team as their mates or siblings who do not have a disability. It also means that there is another opportunity for participation in sport available in the community.

We strive to create a meaningfully inclusive and supportive environment which allows athletes with an intellectual disability to achieve their individual potential in a regular sporting environment.
